This activity allows you to modify the conversion factors that are defined for the UOM. Tell me more

The “Edit UOM Conversion” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

UOM Code

The code identifying the UOM, for which the conversion factor must be modified (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the UOM codes that are similar to the value entered here.

UOM Description

The description of the UOM, for which the conversion factor must be modified (Alphanumeric, 80). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the UOM, whose descriptions are similar to the value, entered here.

Note: Leave the fields blank if you wish to retrieve all the UOMs in the “Central Reference List”.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

From UOM

The code identifying the UOM, for which the conversion factor has been entered.

From UOM Description

The description of the UOM, for which the conversion factor has been entered.

To UOM

The code identifying the UOM to which the UOM in the “From UOM” field is converted.

To UOM Description

The description of the UOM to which the UOM in the “From UOM” field is converted.

Conversion Factors

The conversion factor (Decimal). Mandatory. Ensure that this value is greater than zero. The reverse conversion factor of the UOMs must also be greater than zero.

Note: At least one row must be entered in the multiline.

The system displays the following:

Created by

The login ID of the user who defined the conversion factor.

Create Date

The date on which the conversion factor was defined.

Last Modified by

The login ID of the user who modified the conversion factor last.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the conversion factor was last modified.

Note: There can be only one conversion factor for any given “From” and “To” UOM combination

The reverse conversion factor of the selected UOM combination will also be deleted.

The login user ID and the server date are updated in the “Last Modified by” and the “Last Modified Date” fields in each multiline row.

The reverse conversion factor of the selected UOM combination will also be modified.

This page allows you to modify the conversion factors of the selected UOM. You can modify the conversion factor of the selected UOM. The reverse conversion factor is modified automatically. This page also allows you to delete the conversion factor of the selected UOM. The reverse conversion factor is also deleted automatically. The system stores the login user id and the server date, along with the modified details.
