  Select the “Edit Quick Code” link under the “UOM Administration” business component. Tell me more.

The “Edit Quick Code” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

  Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for quick codes:

Quick Code Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code type for which the quick codes must be modified. The system provides the option “UOM Category”.

Status

Use the drop down list box to select the status of the quick code to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default.

Note: Leave all the fields blank if you want to retrieve all the quick codes defined in the login organizational unit.

  Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Quick Code

The quick code belonging to the selected quick code type or status.

Note: You can modify only those quick codes that are in the “Active” status.

  Enter the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline to modify the quick code details:

Description

The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory.

Status

Use the drop down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options “Active”,“Inactive” and “Blank”. The system displays “Active “ by default.

 

Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this quick code from future reference in other activities.

The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Created By

The login ID of the user who has created the quick code.

Created Date

The date on which the quick code was created.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user that last modified the quick code.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the quick code was last modified.

  Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the quick code for deletion.

  Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the quick codes selected in the multiline.

  Click the “Edit Quick Code” pushbutton to update the modified details.

The system stores the server date as the “Last Modified Date”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What you can do in this page

Activate or inactivate the quick code

You can modify the status of the quick code.

  Set the “Status” field to “Active”, if you wish to refer this quick code in other activities.

  Set the “Status” field to “Inactive”, if you wish to disable the quick codes from future reference in other activities.
