This page allows you to view the primary task in the standard procedure and the dependent tasks defined for the primary task. Tell me more

The “View Task Relationships” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Standard Procedure Details” group box:

SP Applicability

Indicates whether the standard procedure is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the standard procedure can be performed.

Std. Procedure #

The standard procedure selected in the main page for viewing.

Std. Procedure Description

The textual description of the standard procedure.

Zoom facility available

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the primary task for which the relationship details must be retrieved. The system lists all the tasks and their sequence number that are included in the standard procedure. The task and the sequence number are separated by hyphen.

The system fills in the following fields on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Task Description

The description of the task.

Zoom facility available

The system displays the following in the “Related Task Details” multiline:

Seq #

The sequence number of the dependent task in the standard procedure.

Task #

The number identifying the dependent task.

Task Description

The description of the dependent task.

Relationship Type

The relationship between the primary task and the dependent task. The relationship can be one of the following: “Start-Start”, “Start-Finish”, “Finish-Start” or “Finish-Finish”.

Lag

The time gap between the primary task and the dependent task.

Time Unit

Viewing task relationship details for a standard procedure – An overview

View standard procedure - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the primary task in the standard procedure and the dependent tasks defined for the primary task. You can also view the relationship between the primary task and the dependent tasks, along with the time lag, if any.

The relationship between the primary task and the dependent task can be one of the following:

Start – Start relationship

In this type of relationship, the execution of the primary task and the dependent task begin simultaneously.

Finish – Finish relationship

In this type of relationship, the primary task and the dependent task are completed at the same time, irrespective of when the primary task or the dependent task was triggered.

Finish – Start relationship

In this type of relationship, the dependent task is triggered only after the completion of the primary task.

Start – Finish relationship

In this type of relationship, the dependent task is triggered after the execution of the primary task has begun, and is completed before the primary task execution is completed.

You can select the task for which you wish to view the dependent tasks. The details of relationship, along with the time lag, are displayed in the multiline.
