Selecting standard procedure for viewing
This page allow you to select a standard procedure and view its details. Tell me more
Select the “View Standard Procedure” link under the “Maintenance Task” business component.
The “Select Standard Procedure” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a standard procedure. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
SP Applicability |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the applicability of the standard procedure to be retrieved, which could be “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. The system retrieves all the standard procedures that are applicable for the item specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of standard procedures irrespective of their applicability. The system sets the field to “Aircraft” by default. |
Base Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the standard procedure can be performed (Alphanumeric, 30). Ensure that the aircraft model is already defined in the “Aircraft” business component and is in “Active” status. You must enter this field only when the SP applicability “Aircraft” |
Std. Procedure # |
The standard procedure number for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the standard procedures that are similar to the values entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the standard procedure to be modified, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the standard procedures that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of standard procedures irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number to which the standard procedure is associated (Alphanumeric, 16). The system retrieves all the standard procedures whose ATA chapters are similar to the description entered here. |
Operations Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the operation type of the maintenance activity. The system lists the following options:

Work Center |
The number identifying the work center primarily responsible for executing the work unit (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Std. Procedure Description |
The description of the standard procedure to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 150). Enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the standard procedures whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

The operation type of the maintenance activity. |

The number identifying the work center. |
Click the hyperlinked standard procedure number in the multiline, to view the standard procedure details.
Select the “View Standard Procedure Revision History” to view the revision history for the standard procedure.
Selecting standard procedure for viewing – An overview
You can select a standard procedure and view its details. If you know the standard procedure number to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the standard procedure number, status, description, applicability or base aircraft model. The details of the selected standard procedure, such as the standard procedure number, description, status, its applicability or base aircraft model are displayed.
