This page allow you to view the details of the resources that are required for completing the access panel task.  Tell me more

The “View Resource / Sign-Off Requirement” page appears.

The system displays the following in the "Task Details" group box:

Task Applicability

Indicates whether the access panel task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the access panel task can be performed

Task #

The access panel task number.

Task Description

The textual description of the access panel task.

Update based on Actuals

Indicates, whether the resource details will be updated with the actual details of resources consumed during execution of the access panel task through “Revise Estimate” activity. The values in this field could be “Yes” or “No”.

The system displays the following in the “Resource Details” multiline:

Resource Type

The type of the resource, which could be “Skills”, “Tools”, “Equipment“ or “Others”.

Resource #

The resource required for performing the access panel task.

Resource Description

The description of the resource.

Time Unit

The unit of measurement for the resource time, which could be “Hours”, “Minutes” or “Days”.

Est.  Time

The number of hours, minutes or days for which the resource is required to complete the task.

Est. Nos

The number of resources required for completing the task.

Approval Reqd.?

Indicates whether the resource is an approved resource or not. The values in this field could be “Yes” or “No”.

Sign-Off?

Indicates whether the resource has to sign after carrying out the task or not. The values in this field could be “Yes” or “No”.

The system displays the following in the “Resource Sign-Off Information” group box:

Resource Type

The type of the resource, which could be “Tools”, “Others”, “Skills” or “Equipment”. The system displays “Skills”, by default.

Resource #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the resource required for completing the task. The system lists all the resources specified in the “Resource Details” multiline, for which “Resource Type” is “Skills” and “Sign-Off?” flag is set to “Yes”.

The system displays the following fields in the “Sub-Task Sign-Off Information” multiline, on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

The system also lists all the sub-tasks of the resources for which the “Sign-Off? flag is set as “Yes” in the “Resource Details” multiline.

Seq #

The sequence in which the sub task has to be performed, while executing the maintenance task.

Sub Tasks

The sub task that has to be performed while executing the maintenance task.

Resource Group

The resource group for performing the sign-off of the sub-task. The system displays one of the following:

  • “Not Required” – Indicates that the sign-off is not required.

  • “Mechanic” – Indicates that the sign-off is to be performed by the mechanic.

  • “Inspector” – Indicates that the sign-off is to be performed by the inspector.

  • “Insp. & Mech.” – Indicates that the sign-off is to be performed by both the inspector and mechanic.

Viewing Access Panel Task - A Summary of the activity

You can view the details of the resources that are required for completing the access panel task, in this page. Details such as the access panel task number, its description, resource type, resource code, resource description, time unit, estimated duration and number of resources required, can be viewed. You can also view details pertaining to whether approval for using the resource is required, and whether the resource has to sign after the work has been carried out.

This page also allows you to view the sign-off details pertaining to the task/sub-task.
