Using this page you can edit the mod # effectivity details for an aircraft that belong a specified model.

The “Edit Mod # Effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the “Task Details” group box:

Task #

The task for which the mod effectivity details for aircraft must be modified.

Revision #

The revision number of the task for which the mod effectivity details must be modified.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Task Applicability

The applicability of the task which must be “Aircraft”.

Aircraft Model #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the model to which the aircraft belongs. The system lists all the aircraft model numbers that are applicable for the task specified above.

The system displays the base aircraft model number by default.

 

The system displays the following:

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model number on which the task is performed.

Default Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to specify the default applicability of the Mod number on the aircraft. The system provides the options: “Pre”, “Post”, “No Impact” and “Not Applicable”.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

The system displays the following:

Mod #

The unique number identifying the modification done with respect to the aircraft.

Mod Description

The textual description of the modification done to the aircraft.

Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to specify the applicability of the Mod number on the aircraft. The system provides the options “Pre”, “Post”, “No Impact” and “Not Applicable”.

The value “Not Applicable” gets loaded in the drop-down list box, if there is no applicability value defined for the mod # - aircraft combination in the “Common Masters” business component.

The system leaves the field blank by default.

The system displays the following details:

Mod Classification

Indicates the mod classification to which the aircraft belongs.

Mod Category

The category under which the mod classification is done.

ATA #

The number identifying the ATA chapter.

Remarks

Any additional comments pertaining to the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 150).

Note: You can delete only those records for which the applicability is either left blank or is set as “Not Applicable”.
