In this page, you can retrieve the details of the work area or zone, from which you can select the physical location where the task has to be executed. You can select whether you want to retrieve the work area or zone details. You can carry out the search for the work area or zone based on the number or description. Details of the work area or zone such as their number, description, organizational unit and its description are displayed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Work Area / Zone #” field in the main screen.
The ” Help on Work Area / Zone” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Model Details” group box:

Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the work area or zone is associated. |
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a work area. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Work Area / Zone # |
The work area or zone number for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system lists all the work area or zone numbers that are similar to the values entered here. |

Description |
Enter the description to be retrieved in full or specify it partially using “*” character (Alphanumeric, 150). The system lists all the work areas or zones whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Work Area / Zone |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether “Work Area” or “Zone” details to be retrieved. The system sets the field to “Work Area” by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
Note: The system retrieves all the “Active” status work area or zone based on the filter criteria specified.
The system fills in the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Work Area / Zone |
Indicates, whether the work area or zone details have been retrieved The system displays either “Work Area” or “Zone”. |

Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model number to which the work area or zone is associated. |

Work Area / Zone # |
The number identifying the work area or zone. |

Description |
The textual description of the work area or zone. |
|
Org. Unit # |
The organizational unit number in which the work area or zone is defined. |

Org. Unit Name |
The description of the organizational unit in which the work area or zone is defined. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the work areas where the task has to be executed.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
