Entering resource details for a standard procedure
This option allows you to add or modify the details of resources required for executing the standard procedure. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Resource Requirement” link at the bottom of the “Create Standard Procedure Information” or the “Edit Standard Procedure Information” page.
The “Edit Resource Requirements” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Standard Procedure Details” group box:

Indicates whether the standard procedure is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. |

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the standard procedure can be performed |
Std. Procedure # |
The standard procedure selected in the main page, for which the resource details have to be specified. |

Enter the following:
Resource Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the resource for which the details are to be added or modified. The available options are “Tools”, “Others”, “Skills”, and “Equipment”. The system sets the field to “Skills” by default. |
Click the “Get details” pushbutton to retrieve the resource details that are already defined for the task and resource type combination.
Enter the following in the “Resource Details” multiline:
Resource # |
The resource required for completing the standard procedure (Alphanumeric, 40). The resource of type “Skills” must have been defined in the "Create Employee File" activity of the "Employee Information" business component and resource of type “Tools”, “Others” and “Equipment” must have been defined in the “Work Center” business component. For each resource type, the resource number must be unique within the multiline. |

Enter the following fields:
Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement for the resource time, which could be “Minutes”, “Hours” or “Days”. |
Est. Time |
The number of hours, minutes or days the resource is required to complete the standard procedure (Decimal). Mandatory. For “skill” type resources, if the sum of estimated duration, in terms of hours, is greater than the total man-hours estimated for the standard procedure, the system automatically sets the estimated man-hours to the sum of the estimated duration entered in the multiline |
Est. Nos |
The number of resources required for completing the standard procedure (Integer). Ensure that the value entered in this field is positive. |
Approval Reqd.? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the resource should be an approved resource or not. The available options are Yes” and “No” and the system displays “No” by default. |
Sign-Off? |
Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the user has to sign after the standard procedure has been carried out by the resource. The available options are “Yes” and “No”. This field is applicable only for “skill” type resources. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the resource for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the resources selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Resource Requirements” pushbutton to update the resource details for the standard procedure.
Entering resource details for a standard procedure– An overview
This option allows you to add or modify the details of resources required for executing the standard procedure. If you wish to define the resources for the standard procedure, you can enter details such as resource code, estimated duration, and number of resources needed against each resource type. You can also indicate whether the resource should be an approved resource or not and whether sign off is required for the “Skill” type resource. Based on this information during work reporting sign off sheet will be automatically generated by the system. You can also retrieve resources that have already been defined for the standard procedure and modify its details. The system updates the resource details and sets the last modified date to the current server date.

Set the “Resource Type’ drop-down list box to “Skill” to add skill type resource to standard procedure.
Set the “Resource Type’ drop-down list box to “Tools” to add the tools required for standard procedure.
Set the “Resource Type’ drop-down list box to “Equipment” to add the equipment required for standard procedure.
Set the “Resource Type’ drop-down list box to “Others” to add other type of resource required for standard procedure.
