Entering part details for a standard procedure

This page allow you to add or modify the details of parts required for executing the standard procedure. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Parts Requirement” link at the bottom of the “Create Standard Procedure Information” or the “Edit Standard Procedure Information” page.

The “Edit Part Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Standard Procedure Details” group box:

SP Applicability	Indicates whether the standard procedure is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.
Base Aircraft Model #	The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the standard procedure can be performed
Std. Procedure #	The standard procedure selected in the main page, for which the part details have to be entered.
Std. Procedure Description	The textual description of the standard procedure. Zoom facility available

Enter the following field in the “Part # Details” multiline:

Part #	The part required for executing the standard procedure (Alphanumeric, 40). The part should have already been defined in the "Create Part Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The part number should be unique within the multiline.

The system fills in the following fields on clicking the “Edit Part Requirements” pushbutton:

Part Description	The textual description of the part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.
Part Type	The type of the part as defined in the “Part Administration” business component.

Enter the following fields:

UOM

The unit of measurement for the part (Alphanumeric, 10). The unit of measurement must be a valid UOM for the part defined in the “Create Part Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component or you can enter any UOM defined for the part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component. Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the part number is entered.

Est. Quantity

The required quantity of the part to execute the standard procedure (Decimal). Data entry in this field is mandatory, if the part number is entered.

Click the hyperlinked part description in the multiline, to view the details of the part.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the part for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the parts selected in the multiline..
Click the "Edit Part Requirements" pushbutton to update the part details for the standard procedure.

Entering part details for a standard procedure – An overview

You can add or modify the details of parts required for executing the standard procedure, in this page. On specifying the part number, the system displays the part type and description and allows you to modify the unit of measurement and the estimated quantity. The part details are updated and the system sets the last modified date to the current server date.
