Entering component effectivity details for a standard procedure

This page you allow you to define the component effectivity for the standard procedure, that is, indicate the applicability of the standard procedure for components. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Component Effectivity” link at the bottom of the previous page.

The “Edit Component Effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Standard Procedure Details” group box:

Std. Procedure #

The standard procedure selected in the main page, for which the component effectivity details must be defined.

Std. Procedure Description

The textual description of the standard procedure.

Zoom facility available.

SP Applicability

Indicates whether the standard procedure is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Enter the following in the “Part Details” multiline:

Part #

The component on which the standard procedure must be performed (Alphanumeric, 40). The component specified here must have been identified as “Component” in the “Create Part Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component” and should be in “Active” status.

The system fills in the following field:

Part Description

The description of the component. While adding components for the standard procedure, this field is filled in by the system on clicking the “Edit Component Effectivity” pushbutton.

Enter the following field:

Modified Part # Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to indicate whether the task is applicable for all the serial numbers of the part specified in the “Part #” field as well as for all the serial numbers of parts whose base part number is the specified part.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the component for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the components selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Component Effectivity” pushbutton to update the component effectivity details for the standard procedure.

Entering component effectivity details for a standard procedure – An overview

In this page, you can define the component effectivity for the standard procedure, that is, indicate the applicability of the standard procedure for components.

You can enter the components on which the standard procedure is to be performed, and the corresponding component details are displayed in the multiline. You can add more components or modify the details of components that have already been defined for the standard procedure. The system updates the component effectivity details and sets the last modified date to the server date.
