This page allows you to add or modify the details of parts required for executing the access panel task. The details of the part number such as unit of measurement and quantity can be modified. The system updates the part details and sets the last modified date to the current server date.

The “Edit Part Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Task Details” group box:

Task Applicability

The applicability of the access panel task, which could be "Aircraft".

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the access panel task can be performed

Task #

The access panel task for which the part details are to be added or modified.

Task Description

The textual description of the access panel task.

Update Based on Actuals

Check this box if you wish to update the part details based on the actual details of parts consumed during execution of the access panel task.

 

Note: On launching the page, the system displays the part details that are already associated to the access panel task.

Part #

The number identifying the part required for executing the access panel task. Data entry in this field is mandatory, if value is specified in either “UOM” or “Est. Quantity” field. Ensure that the part number specified here is in “Active” status and is defined in the "Create Part Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The part number should be unique within the multiline (Alphanumeric, 40).

Note: You cannot modify the existing record in the multiline.

The system displays the following:

Part Description

The textual description of the part number.

Part Type

The type of the part.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the part. The unit of measurement for the part (Alphanumeric, 10). The unit of measurement must be a valid UOM for the part defined in the “Create Part Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component or you can enter any UOM defined for the part in the “Maintain UOM Conversions” of “Part Administration” business component. If the part number is specified, data entry in this field is mandatory.

Est. Quantity

The required quantity of the part to carry out the access panel task. If the part is specified, data entry in this field is mandatory (Numeric). The value entered here must be positive.

Note: Ensure that at least one record exists in the multiline.

Note: The system displays an error message, if any other concurrent user attempts to simultaneously modify the part details.
