This page allows you to select a non-standard task to be converted into a standard task. Tell me more

Note: Upon launching the activity, the system displays all the non-standard tasks that are in the “Active” status.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Non-Standard Task #

The non-standard task to be converted into standard task (Alphanumeric, 30).

To search for non-standard task

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the task can be performed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using “*” character. The system retrieves all the tasks with the base aircraft model number entered here.

Task Applicability

Use the drop-down list box to specify the object to which the tasks you want to retrieve are applicable. The system displays the following values: "Aircraft”, “Engine” and “Component”.

The system lists all tasks applicable to aircrafts,  engines or components, as you specify here.

By default, this field remains blank.

Non-Standard Task #

The non-standard task for which the details are to be retrieved. You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the non-standard tasks that are similar to the values entered here (Alphanumeric, 30).

Task Description

Enter the description of the task to be retrieved in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the tasks whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here (Alphanumeric, 150)

ATA #

The ATA chapter number to indicate the system on which the task has to be performed (Alphanumeric, 16). The system retrieves all non-standard tasks with the ATA chapter number entered here.

Source Document Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the source document. The system lists the options “Engineering Order”, “A/C Maint. Exe. Ref #”, “Discrepancy Processing”, “Component Work Order”, "Hangar Work Order" and “Others”. The system retrieves all non-standard tasks with the source document type specified here.

The system sets this field to "Others" by default.

Created Date From

The starting date in the range of non-standard task creation dates from which the details are to be retrieved. The system retrieves all non-standard tasks that were created later than this date (Alphanumeric, 15).

Created Date To

The ending date in the range of non-standard task creation dates until which the details are to be retrieved. The system retrieves all non-standard tasks that were created prior to this date (Alphanumeric, 15).

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Task Applicability

Indicates whether the task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.

Base Aircraft Model #

The number identifying the base aircraft model on which the task can be performed

Non standard Task #

The non-standard task to be converted into standard task.

Task Description

The description of the non-standard task.

No. of Occurrences

The number of times the non-standard task has occurred.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number to indicate the system on which the task has to be performed

Est. Elapsed Time

The time estimated for completing the task

Time Unit

The time unit for estimated elapsed time

Est. Man Hrs

The man-hours estimated for task completion

Created Date

Selecting non-standard based task to create standard task – An overview

Create Non-Routine based Task -  A summary of the activity

This option allows you to select a non-standard task to be converted into a standard task. If you know the non-standard task number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can search for a non-standard task by providing filter criteria such as the non-standard task number, description,ATA chapter number, task applicability, base aircraft model number, source document type or the range of dates during which the non-standard task was created. The system retrieves non-standard tasks based on the search criteria and displays details such as the non-standard task number, description, the number of occurrences ATA chapter number, estimated elapsed time with time unit, estimated man-hours and the dates on which they were created, in the multiline.
