Selecting Reference document to create stock transfer receipt
This page allows you to select the issue number and create the stock transfer receipt. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Stock Transfer Receipt” link under the “Stock Receipt” business component.
The “Select Reference Document” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a stock issue:
Note: The warehouse must be in the “Active” status, as defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component.
Issue # |
The number identifying the issue, for which the stock transfer was done (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the issue number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the issue numbers that are either same as (if issue number is specified in full) or similar to the number(if issue number has been specified partially) entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the issue documents for which Stock Transfer Receipt is pending. |
Issue Location |
The stocking location of the part issued (Alphanumeric, 256). You can enter the issue location in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the Issue documents raised in the location that are similar to the location entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the Issue documents, irrespective of the location. |
Issue Warehouse # |
The warehouse from where the stock is issued (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the warehouse number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the Issue documents raised on warehouse numbers that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the Issue documents, irrespective of the warehouse. |
Receipt Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse where the part must be received (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the warehouse number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the Issue Documents raised on warehouse numbers that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the Issue Documents, irrespective of the warehouse. |
Stock Transfer # |
The number identifying the stock transfer document raised for the part (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the transfer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the Issue documents raised on Stock transfer documents that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the Issue documents, irrespective of the Stock transfer Number. |
Created At |
Use the drop-down list box to select the creating location of the stock transfer document for which you want the issue document number to get listed |
Part # |
The number identifying the part (Alphanumeric, 40) for which the Stock Transfer Issue has happened. The part must be in the “Active” status, as defined in the “Create Parts Main Information” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. |
Part Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the part type for which the Issue Document is being searched. The part types are predefined in the system. The various part types are “Raw Material”, “Tool”, “Kit”, “Expendable” , "Miscellaneous"and “Consumable”. |
Trading Partner Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the trading partner for the stock transfer, which could be “Supplier” or “Customer”.
The system retrieves stock transfer receipts that have part ownership set to “Internal”, if you leave this field blank. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Trading Partner # |
The unique code identifying the supplier or customer (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the trading partner code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the reference document numbers with the trading partner code entered here. |

Issue # |
The number identifying the issue document. |
Stock Transfer # |
The number identifying stock transfer document . |
From Stocking Point |
The location from where the stock was issued. |
From Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse, from where the stock was issued. |
Transfer Category |
The category to which the stock transfer belongs as defined in the “Create Inter Warehouse Stock Transfer” activity of the “Stock Transfer” business component. |
User Status |
The user-defined stock status of the stock transfer receipt. |
Trading Partner Type |
The trading partner for the stock transfer, which could be “Supplier” or “Customer”. The system does not display any value if the parts are internal-owned. |
Trading Partner # |
The unique code identifying the supplier or customer. |
Trading Partner Name |
The name of the supplier or customer. |
Issue Date |
The date on which the parts are issued to the requesting organizational unit. |
Note: The system retrieves and displays the trading partner details from the reference stock transfer order document.
To create Stock Transfer Receipt
Click the hyperlinked Issue number in the multiline, to create stock transfer receipt.
Selecting Reference document – An overview
This page allows you to select the issue number and create the stock transfer receipt.
You can carry out the search using issue number, stock transfer number, warehouse receipt number, type of the part, user status, trading partner type or trading partner #. The system displays the issue details in the multiline as per the search criteria.
Only issues against Stock Transfers, which are in ”Confirmed” status, can be selected for creating the transfer receipt.
