Generating reliability reports
Select the “Generate Reliability Report” link under the “Reliability Analysis” business component.
The “Generate Reliability Report” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Report for |
Use the drop-down list box to select the year for which you wish to generate the reliability report. The month / quarterly period for which you wish to generate the report is listed in the drop-down list box provided alongside. If the parameter ‘Quarterly Consolidation’ for the Category ‘Report Generation Option’ is set as ‘0’ in the “Set Options” activity of Flight Log, the system lists only months in the adjacent drop-down list box. If the said parameter is set as ‘1’, system lists all months followed by quarters. Data selection in this field is mandatory. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The “Search Results” multiline displays the following.
Reliability Rep. Group |
The name/short description of the reliability report group. This column displays all the reliability report groups defined in the “Setup Reliability Fleet” activity. |
Reliability Fleet # |
The identification number of the reliability fleet associated with the reliability report group. This column displays the reliability fleets defined in the “Setup Reliability Fleet” activity with “Active” status. |
Fleet Description |
The name / short description of the reliability fleet. |
Report Count |
The number of reliability reports configured for the reliability fleet. |
Status |
The report generation status of the reliability fleet. The status could be one of the following: “Under Processing”, “Generated”, “Under Consolidation”, “Consolidated” and “Published”. |
Enter the following.
User Status |
The user status of the reliability fleet as specified in the in the “Setup Reliability Fleet” activity. This field is mandatory, if the Mandatory attribute of the user status is set to “Yes” in the Maintain Quick Codes activity. However, if you do not specify any value, the system defaults the user status defined in the Maintain Quick Codes activity with the Default attribute set to “Yes”. |
Remarks |
Elaborate details about the user status (Alphanumeric, 2000). |
The system displays the following details after report generation.
Report Book |
The link to a Word document that contains all the generated reports for the reliability fleet, in Excel format. This Word document is stored in the path, which is specified in the Set Options activity. |
Enter the following.
Archive Reference |
The library where the report book is stored (Alphanumeric, 25). |
The system displays the following details after report generation.
Generated On |
The date on which the last reliability report was generated for the reliability fleet. |
Generated By |
The employee code and name of the person who last generated a reliability report for the reliability fleet. |
Select the required reliability fleet for which you want to generate, regenerate, publish or update reports, in the multiline.
Generating reports
Click the “Generate” pushbutton.
Note: When you select a quarter for generating the report, you must ensure that the monthly reports for all the months in the previous quarter are in “Published” status.
On click of “Generate”, the system performs the following tasks,
In the Set Options activity, if the parameter “Reliability Analysis Level” is set to “Reliability Fleet Level” the system generates all the reports defined for the reliability fleet. If this parameter is set to “Reliability Rep. Group level”, the system generates all the reports configured to every reliability fleet associated to a reliability rep. group.
The status of the reliability report is set to “Generated”
Note: You cannot generate reports, if the status of the reliability fleet is “Generated” or “Under processing”.
Regenerating reports
Click the “Regenerate” pushbutton.
On click of “Regenerate”, the system performs the following tasks,
Regenerates all the reports defined for the reliability fleet, if the parameter “Reliability Analysis Level” is set to “Reliability Fleet Level” in the Set Options activity. If this parameter is set to “Reliability Rep. Group level”, the system reproduces all the reports applicable to all the reliability fleets associated with the reliability rep. group.
Sets the status of the reliability report to “Under Processing”.
Updating reliability fleet information
Click the “Update” pushbutton.
The system updates the user status of the reliability fleet.
Publishing reports
Click the “Publish” pushbutton.
Note: For publishing reports, the status of the reliability fleet must be “Consolidated”. You cannot publish reports, when the status of the reliability fleet is other than “Consolidated”.
On click of “Publish”, the system performs the following tasks,
Sets the status of the reliability fleet to “Published”.
Terminates the report generation process for the specific period.
Note: The system does not allow you to generate or regenerate reports for a fleet after they are published.
To proceed
Select the data hyperlink in the required Reliability Fleet # column to see an already published report for the specified period.
Select the “View File” link to view the report book.
