Managing aircraft utilization information
Select the “Manage Aircraft Utilization Info.” link under the “Reliability Analysis” business component.
The “Manage Aircraft Utilization Info.” page appears.
Enter the following filters in the ”Search Criteria” group box to retrieve utilization details of aircraft:
Search On |
Use the drop-down list box to select the attribute that will be the basis for the search. The table below illustrates the options and the input values you can specify for the search.

Utilization from / to Date |
The start and end dates of specific month for which you wish to retrieve aircraft utilization records. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The “Aircraft Utilization Details” multiline displays the following retrieved utilization details of aircraft.
You can update the utilization records of the retrieved aircraft in the multiline.
Aircraft Reg. # |
The unique identifier of the aircraft. Mandatory. Help facility available |
The multiline displays the following details of the aircraft.
Aircraft MSN |
The manufacturer serial # of the aircraft. |
Aircraft Model # |
The model of the aircraft. |
Ownership |
The ownership of the aircraft, such as Internal, Customer or Supplier. |
Owning Agency # |
The agency that owns the aircraft, such as Customer # or Supplier #. |
Owning Agency Name |
The name of agency that owns the aircraft. |
Enter the utilization details for the aircraft
Utilization from Date |
The start date of a month from which the utilization have been retrieved / displayed for the record. Note: The utilization period comprises a month. You must specify the first date of a month. |
Utilization to Date |
The end date of the month from which the utilization have been retrieved / displayed for the record. Note: You must specify the last date of the month. |
Parameter |
Use the drop-down list box to select the parameter that is considered for the reliability analysis for the aircraft. The drop-down lists all the parameters mapped to the aircraft. |
Value |
The current value of the parameter. |
Value Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the parameter value. The drop-down list box displays Actual and Planned. |
The multiline displays the following details.
Status |
The status of the aircraft utilization record – Fresh or Confirmed. |

Last Modified by |
The login user who most recently changed the record. |
Last Modified Date & Time |
The date on and time at which the login user changed the record. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the details you recorded in the multiline.
Note: On save, the status of the aircraft utilization record becomes ‘Fresh’ and the revision # of the record is incremented by 1. In this status, the record can be modified or deleted. If a confirmed record is updated and saved, the status of the record becomes ‘Fresh’ and the revision # is incremented by 1.
Click the “Confirm” pushbutton to confirm the utilization details of aircraft.
Note: The status of the current aircraft utilization record becomes ‘Confirmed’ while the status of the previous version of the ‘Revised’.
To retrieve and save actual parameter values for the aircraft for specific month
Select the aircraft for which you want to retrieve actual parameter values in the multiline.
Click the “Get Utilization” pushbutton.
The Value column for the selected aircraft will display the New or Delta parameter values as recorded for the specified month in the “Re-Initialize-Update Parameter Values” activity of Aircraft. However, the system will retrieve the parameter only if you have specified the start and end dates of the required month in the Utilization from Date and Utilization to Date fields and the parameter specified is also mapped to the aircraft.
You can modify the retrieved parameter value in the “Value” column of the multiline and then click “Save” to save the record.
