Managing Reliability Notes

Window Overview: This window page enables you to record special instruction/notes against a part/part-serial combination. The Reliability notes are essentially repair instructions that provide guidelines to the external repair agency for repairs to be executed on the part/component. Additional information including technical/physical facts of the part/component can also be provided as part of reliability notes.

Click on the icon in the “Reliability Notes” column in the multiline of the “Manage Removal Assessment Dashboard” page.

The “Manage Reliability Notes” window appears and displays the following information.

Part # / Desc.	The part # selected in the multiline of the “Manage removal Assessment Dashboard” page.
Serial #	The serial # of the part # selected in the multiline of the “Manage removal Assessment Dashboard “page.
Notes Last Updated on	The date on which the reliability notes was last recorded in this window.

Enter the following.

Notes Category	To retrieve notes of specific category, select the category of the notes you wish to update/ record. Mandatory. The drop-down list displays the following: Repair.
Reliability Notes	Details of the repair instructions for the removed component.

Select the “Add” pushbutton to save the notes and return to the "Component Removal Dashboard" page.
Enter the following in the “Notes History” section to retrieve notes.

Repair Status	To retrieve notes of specific status, use the drop-down list box to select the status of the note. The drop-down list box displays Closed and Open.
Notes Category	To retrieve notes of specific category, select the category of the notes from the drop-down list box. The drop-down list displays the following: Repair.

Note Date	To retrieve reliability notes recorded in specific period. The start and the end dates of the period from which you want to retrieve reliability notes.

Select the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve notes based on the search filters in the multiline.

You can modify the details of the notes retrieved in the multiline.

Date	The date on which the reliability note was recorded in the page.
Reliability Notes	The entire text of the reliability note.
Addl. Remarks	More information on the repairs executed on the removed component.
Status	The status of the reliability note.
Notes Category	The category of the notes, such as 'Repair'.
Created by	The login user who recorded notes for the first time.
Created Date	The date on which the login user who recorded notes for the first time.
Last Modified by	The login user who most recently modified the notes.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the notes were most recently modified by the login user.

Click the "Save" pushbutton.
