Viewing weight & balance details

This page allows you to view the weight and moment details of the aircraft. Tell me more

Select the “View Weight & Balance Details” link at the bottom of the “View Maintenance Change Request” page.

The “View Weight & Balance Information” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:

MCR #	The number identifying the MCR for which the weight and balance details are displayed.
Revision #	The revision number of the MCR.
Subject	The textual description of the MCR.
Source Doc Type	The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs.
Part Identifier	The identifier of the part as defined in the “Create Maintenance Change Request” activity, which could be one of the following:
	Internal – Indicates that the MCR must be executed on the part that is available with the operator and is defined in the "Part Administration" component.
	Supplier – Indicates that the MCR must be executed on the part supplied by the supplier. This part can be new or already defined as an alternate part in the "Part Administration" business component

Enter the following field in the “Group Details” group box to select the applicability group for viewing the weight and balance details:

Applicability Group #

Use the drop-down list box to select the group of aircraft, component or engine for which the MCR is applicable. The system lists the group numbers created in the “Aircraft Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Aircraft” or the group numbers defined in the “Component Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Component” or “Engine”.

Leave this field blank to view the weight and balance details with respect to the MCR and the revision number combination.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the weight and balance details for the applicability group.

The system displays the following fields in the “Weight & Balance Details” multiline:

Part #	The number identifying the part that is modified.
UOM	The unit of measurement for the aircraft weight.
Change In Weight	The change in weight of the aircraft after the execution of the MCR.
UOM	The unit of measurement for the aircraft moment.
Change In Moment	The change in moment of the aircraft after the execution of the MCR.

The system displays the following field in the “Net Weight & Balance Change Details” group box:

Net Change in weight	The net change in the weight of the aircraft after the execution of the MCR.
Net Change in Moment	The net change in the moment of the aircraft after the execution of the MCR.

The system displays the following field in the "Change in electrical load" group box:

Change in Electrical Load

The change in electrical load of the aircraft after the execution of the MCR.

Viewing weight & balance details - An overview

There might be a change in the weight and moment of the aircraft after the execution of MCR. This page allows you to view the weight and moment details of the aircraft. You can view the details for a specific applicability group. Details such as the part number that is modified, the unit of measurement for the aircraft weight and aircraft moment, the change in aircraft weight and aircraft moment, and the change in electrical load of the aircraft after the MCR execution are displayed in the multiline.
