This page allows you to view the details of the publications that are affected due to the modification or execution of the MCR.  Tell me more

The “View Publications Affected” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:

MCR #

The number identifying the MCR for which the affected publications details are displayed.

Revision #

The revision number of the MCR.

Subject

The textual description of the MCR.Zoom facility available

Source Doc Type

The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs.

Applicability Group #

Use the drop-down list box to select the group of aircraft, component or engine for which the MCR is applicable. The system lists the group numbers created in the “Aircraft Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Aircraft” or the group numbers defined in the “Component Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Component” or “Engine”.

Leave this field blank to view the affected publication details with respect to the MCR and the revision number combination.

The system displays the following fields in the “Change Details” multiline:

Reference Doc Type

The type of the document to which the publication belongs.

Document #

The number identifying the publication that is affected due to the MCR execution.

Chapter-Section

The number identifying the chapter or section that is affected due to the MCR execution.

Remarks

Viewing affected publication details for the MCR - An overview

View MCR - A summary of the activity

In this page you can view the details of the publications that are affected due to the modification or execution of the MCR.

The modifications suggested by the MCR might affect various publications such as AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), CMM (Component Maintenance Manual) and SRM (Structural Repair Manual). For example, addition of a part number or the modification of an existing part number can affect the publication IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue). This page allows you to view the details of such publications along with the exact chapter or section that is affected due to the execution of the MCR.

You can view the affected publication information for a specific applicability group. The document number of the publication, document type, the number of the chapter or section and any remarks pertaining to the affected publication are listed in the multiline.
