Viewing configuration change details for the MCR

This page allows you to view these configuration change details. Tell me more

Select the “View Configuration Changes” link at the bottom of the “View Maintenance Change Request” page.

The “View Configuration Change Information” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:

MCR #	The number identifying the MCR for which the configuration change information is displayed.
Revision #	The revision number of the MCR.
Subject	The textual description of the MCR.
Source Doc Type	The type to which the source document belongs.
Part Identifier	The identifier of the part as defined in the “Create Maintenance Change Request” activity, which could be one of the following:
	Internal – Indicates that the MCR must be executed on the part that is available with the operator and is defined in the "Part Administration" component.
	Supplier – Indicates that the MCR must be executed on the part supplied by the supplier. This part can be new or already defined as an alternate part in the "Part Administration" business component

Enter the following field in the “Group Details” group box to select the applicability group for viewing the configuration change details:

Applicability Group #

Use the drop-down list box to select the group of aircraft, component or engine for which the MCR is applicable. The system lists the group numbers created in the “Aircraft Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Aircraft” or the group numbers defined in the “Component Effectivity” page if the MCR is applicable for “Component” or “Engine”.

Leave this field blank to view the configuration change details with respect to the MCR and the revision number combination.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the configuration change details of the applicability group.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part Accountability Details” multiline:

Existing Part #	The part that must be replaced.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.
UOM	The unit of measurement for the part.
Quantity	The number of parts that have to be replaced.
Recommended Use	The action recommended for the replaced part. The system displays one of the following options:
	Discard – indicates that you can discard the part
	Rework – indicates that you can rework on the part.
	Others – indicates that you can keep the part for other purposes
New Part #	The part number that will replace the existing part.
Part Description	The textual description of the new part.
Quantity	The number of new parts that will replace the existing parts.
Interchangeability	The interchangeability of the parts. The system displays one of the following:
	One Way – indicates that the existing part number cannot replace the new part number subsequently in the same position code.
	Two Way – indicates that the existing part number can replace the new part number subsequently in the same position code.
	None – indicates that the part numbers cannot be interchanged.
Remarks	Any comment or remark pertaining to the configuration change.

Viewing configuration change details for the MCR - An overview

The MCR execution might affect the configuration of the aircraft model or the aircraft. This change in configuration might result in the change of the part number resulting in a new part number, change in the interchangeability rules for a particular position in the model / aircraft, addition of a new position code, etc. These details are recorded as configuration change information in the “Create MCR” activity and this page allows you to view these configuration change details.

The part number that is changed, its description, the number of parts changed and the recommended action for the changed part number are displayed. Also the new part number, its description, the number of parts that replaced the previous parts, the part interchangeability and remarks regarding the configuration change are displayed in the multiline.
