This page allows you to retrieve the details of the MCR that is already defined. You can carry out the search using the MCR number, its status, the source that released the MCR, ATA chapter number, the type of the source document and the name of the original equipment manufacturer. Details such as the MCR number, the textual description of the MCR, revision number (if any), source document type, source, the nature of the MCR execution, ATA chapter number, code of the regulatory authority and status are displayed in the multiline.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “MCR #” field in the main screen.
The “Help on Maintenance Change Request” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
MCR # |
The number of the MCR for which you wish to retrieve the details. You can enter the MCR number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCR numbers that are similar to the number entered here. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the MCR. The system lists the options “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, ”Revised” and “Processed”. This field is left blank by default. The system retrieves the MCR numbers of the status specified here. Leave this field blank, if you wish to retrieve the MCRs irrespective of their status. |
Source |
Use the drop-down list box to select the source that released the MCR. The system lists the options “Internal” and “External” and sets this field to blank by default. The system retrieves all the MCRs released by the source specified here. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter on which the MCR is executed (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCRs raised on the ATA chapter entered here. |
Source Doc Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of source document. Based on the option selected in the “Source” field, the system lists all active modification document types created in the “Create MCR Document Type” activity of the “Common Master” business component. |
OEM Name |
The name of the original equipment manufacturer who issued the MCR (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the OEM name in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCRs issued by the OEM entered here. |
Applicability |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the applicability of the MCR. The system displays the options: “Aircraft”, “Component” and “Engine”. This field is set to “Aircraft” by default. If you leave this field blank, the system retrieves all maintenance change requests, irrespective of the applicability. |
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the aircraft model (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the aircraft model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCR numbers associated to the aircraft model specified here. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part on which the MCR must be executed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all MCR numbers for the part number entered here. |

The category, to which the source belongs, which could be either “Internal” or “External”. |
MCR Class |
The nature of execution of the MCR. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter on which the MCR has to be executed. |
Regulatory Authority |
The code of the regulatory authority who issued / approved the MCR. |
Status |
The status of the MCR which could be “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Revised” or “Processed”. |
