This page allows you to retrieve the details of the MCR that is already defined. You can carry out the search using the MCR number and revision number. If you wish to search for the related MCRs, you can specify it in the search criteria. Details such as the MCR number, revision number (if any) and the textual description of the MCR are displayed in the multiline.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “MCR #” field in the main screen.
The “Help on MCR” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR for which you wish to retrieve the details (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the MCR number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the MCR numbers that are similar to the value specified here. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR (Integer). |
Related MCRs |
Check this box to search for MCRs that are related to the MCR being searched. |
Note: If the above field is checked, on clicking the “Search” pushbutton, the system lists all the MCRs that are defined as concurrent requirements for the MCR entered in the “MCR #” field at the top of the page.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results:
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The revision number of the MCR, if any. |
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the MCR.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
