Recording terminated MCR details
This page allows you to define the terminated MCR details for the current MCR . Tell me more
Select the “Edit Terminated MCR List” link at the bottom of the “Create Maintenance Change Request”, “Edit Maintenance Change Request” or “Revise Maintenance Change Request” page.
The “Edit Terminated Maint. Change Req. List” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following fields in the “MCR Details” group box:
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR for which you wish to define the terminated MCR details. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the MCR, if any. |
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR. |
Source Doc Type |
The type of the source document to which the MCR belongs. |
The system displays the multiline fields if you have already defined the terminated MCR details.
Enter the following fields in the “Terminated MCR Details” multiline to add terminated MCRs:
MCR # |
The number identifying the MCR that is terminated by the current MCR (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory. Once entered, this field cannot be modified. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the terminated MCR, if any (Integer). Ensure that the number entered in this field is positive. |
Note: Ensure that the MCR number and revision number combination is unique in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Subject |
The textual description of the MCR that is terminated by the current MCR. |
MCR Issue Date |
The date on which the terminated MCR was issued. |
Enter the following field:
Remarks |
Any remark or comment pertaining to the terminated MCR (Alphanumeric, 255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the MCR number for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the MCR numbers selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Terminated Request List” pushbutton to update the terminating MCR details.
Recording terminated MCR details - An Overview
A new change document or MCR released might override a set of or a single MCR that was released earlier. The current MCR supersedes the earlier MCRs and the superseded MCRs are termed as the terminated MCRs. This page allows you to define the terminated MCR details for the current MCR.
You can specify the MCR number and the revision number (if any) for the MCR that is terminated by the current MCR. You can also enter the remarks pertaining to the MCR termination.
