This page allows you to select the stock transfer for issuing expendables. Tell me more.

The “Select Stock Transfer Document” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. 

Stock Transfer #

The stock transfer based on which the general issue of parts must be done (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the number that is similar to the values entered here. 

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the stock transfer, which could be "Authorized” or “Partialy Issued”. The system displays “Blank” by default.

Requesting Location

Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit in which the stock transfer was prepared. Leave this field blank if you do not wish to specify the requesting location. 

Destination Location

Use the drop-down list box to select the organization unit to which the parts must be sent. The system displays “Blank” by default

Sourcing Warehouse

Use the drop-down list box to specify the warehouse that  will be the source for the parts to be issued. If you are working in the main base, the system lists all Active warehouses defined in the Storage Administration business component for the transaction Stock Transfer Issue, which are not currently offline. However, if you are working in a field base, the warehouses that are mapped to the offline area will be displayed in the drop-down list box.

Transfer Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the stock transfer. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes of type “Transfer Category”, as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Stock Transfer” business component. 

From Need Date

The start date in the range of date from which the parts will be consumed or needed. (Date Format). Mandatory. The date entered here should be equal to or later than the current server date. 

To Need Date

The end date in the range of date unto which the parts will be consumed or needed. (Date Format). Mandatory. The date entered here should be equal to or later than from need date. 

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the part for which the stock transfer is prepared. The system displays “Component”, “Expendable”, “Tool”, “Consumable”, “Raw Material” , “Kit” and  "Miscellaneous".. Leave this field blank to retrieve the material request irrespective of the part type. The system leaves the field blank by default. 

Part #

The number identifying the part of type “Expendable”, that must be issued (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all part numbers that are similar to the number entered here

Trading Partner Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the trading partner type. The system lists the following options:

  • Supplier – Indicates that the part has been received from the supplier.

  • Customer – Indicates that the part has been received from the customer.

Leave this field blank to retrieve all the stock transfer documents, irrespective of the trading partner type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Trading Partner #

The code identifying the trading partner (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the trading partner number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all trading partner numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Stock Transfer #

The number identifying the stock transfer. 

Status

The status of the stock transfer belonging to intra warehouse, which could be one of the following: 

 
  • Draft – The status of the stock transfer, when all details are not entered. 

 
  • Fresh – The status of the stock transfer, when all details are entered. It can be also be attained while modifying the transaction, which is in ‘Draft’ status. 

Need Date

The date on which the parts will be consumed or needed. 

Requesting Location

The organization unit in which the stock transfer document is prepared. 

Sourcing Warehouse #

The warehouse from where the expendables must be issued. 

Destination Location

The organization unit to which the parts must be sent. 

Transfer Category

The category of the stock transfer for the intra warehouse. 

Trading Partner Type

The type of the trading partner, which could be “Supplier” or “Customer”.

Trading Partner #

The code identifying the trading partner.

Trading Partner Name

The name of the trading partner.

User Status

The user status of the stock transfer for the warehouse.  

Priority

Create Stock Transfer Issue – A summary of the activity

 You can carry out a search based on the stock transfer number, its category, the warehouse that would issue the expendable parts, the destination warehouse, the from and to need dates and the number and type of the part that must be issued. Based on the search criteria, details such as the stock transfer number, the need date of the stock transfer, the status and the category of the stock transfer, requesting and the destination warehouse, sourcing warehouse, priority of the repair order, and the user status of the stock transfer are displayed in the multiline.
