This page allows you to select the repair order for issuing parts. Tell me more.

The “Select Repair Order” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Repair Order #

The number identifying the repair order based on which the issue must be done (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the repair order number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the repair orders whose part numbers are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the repair orders, irrespective of the part.

Repair Shop #

The number identifying the shop, once the repair order is released, (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the shop number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the repair orders whose shop numbers are similar to the number entered here.

Warehouse #

Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse from which the spares must be issued. The system lists all the active warehouses in the login organizational unit for the transaction type as “Repair Order”. The system displays "Blank" by default.

RO Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of repair order, which could be “Normal”, “Exchange” or “Blank". 

 
  • Exchange – when the component is exchanged temporarily.

 
  • Normal – when the component is raised for repair.

By default the system leaves the field blank.

RO Category

Use the drop-down list box to specify the document types for which the category values must be defined. The system lists the options as defined in the “Create Common Category” activity of “Logistic Common Master” business component and must be in “Active” status. By default the system leaves the field blank.

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the part for which the material request is prepared must be modified. The system displays “Component”, “expendable”, “Tool”, “Consumable”, “Raw Material” and “Kit”. Leave this field blank to retrieve the material request irrespective of the part type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

RO  Date From

The start date in the range of date from which the parts will be ordered for repair. (Date Format). Mandatory. The date entered here should be equal to or later than the current server date.

RO  Date To

The end date in the range of date unto which the parts will be ordered for repair. (Date Format). Mandatory. The date entered here should be equal to or later than from need date.

Part #

The number identifying the part of type “expendable”, that must be issued (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all part numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Repair Order #

The number identifying the repair order.

Repair Order Date

The date on which the repair order is raised.

RO Type

The type of repair order which could “Normal”, “Exchange” or “Blank”.

RO Category

The category of the repair order.

Repair Shop #

The number identifying the repair shop.

Warehouse #

The warehouse from where the parts must be issued.

Note: If the warehouse filter is specified, fetch all the pending repair order issue for that warehouse.  Also fetch the repair order document for which the core part is available in the specified warehouse.

User Status

The user defined status of the repair order.

Priority

You can carry out a search based on the repair order number, its type and category, the repair shop number, the warehouse that would issue the parts, the form and to need dates of the component work order and the number of the part that must be issued. Based on the search criteria, details such as the repair order number, the date of the repair order, its type and category, the warehouse that would issue the spares, priority of the repair order, and status of the repair order and the user status of the repair order are displayed in the multiline.
