Plan Facility Maintenance  – A summary of the activity

This activity enables you to plan / forecast the maintenance essential for a facility object as well as update the maintenance information.

Maintenance planning includes,

• Creation of a component work order, if the maintenance of the facility object is to be carried out by a work center

• Creation of a repair order, if the maintenance of the facility object is to be carried out by an outside repair agency

This activity also provides the option to create individual or consolidated work order/repair order, for facility objects. Typically, you update maintenance details after unscheduled maintenance jobs are performed on facility objects.
