This page allows you to view the details of the engineering service request (ESR) selected in the main page. Tell me more.

The “View Engg Service Request” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID.

The system displays the following in the “Engg Service Req Details” group box.

Engg Service Req #

The number identifying the engineering service request (ESR).

Request Status

The status of the request. It could be “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Closed”, “Pre-closed”, “Cancelled” or “Response Declined”.

  • Fresh - indicates that the request is newly created.

  • Confirmed - indicates that the ESR has been confirmed. A confirmed request is forwarded to the appropriate engineering cell for processing.

  • Cancelled - indicates that the request has been cancelled because the clarifications are not required any more.

  • Pre-closed - indicates that the engineering department has closed or terminated the ESR without releasing an EAN. This may be due to reasons such as the engineering department not in a position to clarify the request or when there has been an official communication released earlier, based on which the need for the request is irrelevant.

  • Closed - indicates that the engineering department has initiated some action on the request, either by creating an Engineering Advice note or by providing reference to an existing Engineering Advice Note.

  • Response Declined - indicates that the user who has raised the ESR has declined the EAN received as the response. Appropriate reasons for the decline are given as decline comments.

Request Category

The request category of the ESR.

User Status

The user status of the ESR.

Subject

A textual description of the ESR.

Zoom facility available

Applicability

Indicates whether the ESR has been raised on “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number associated to the ESR.

Priority

The priority assigned to the ESR.

The system displays the following in the “Aircraft Details” group box.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft on which the maintenance activity is performed.

Aircraft Model #

The number identifying  the aircraft model

Position Code

The position number of the aircraft model for which the maintenance action is being performed and for which the clarification is sought.

Part #

The part number of the aircraft or component for which the maintenance action is being performed and for which the clarification is sought.

Zone #

The zone number of the aircraft on which the maintenance action is being performed and for which the clarification is sought.

The system displays the following in the “Component Details” group box

Component #

The component number of the component, on which the maintenance is being performed and for which the clarification is sought.

Part #

The part number of the component for which the maintenance action is being performed and for which the clarification is sought.

Serial #

The zone number of the aircraft on which the maintenance action is being performed for which the clarification is sought.

Part Description

The description of the part, on which the maintenance is being performed for which the ESR has been raised.

Zoom facility available

The system displays the following in the “Problem Details” group box

Problem Description

A textual description of the problem.

Zoom facility available

Background Details

A textual description of the activities which led to this problem.

Zoom facility available

The system displays the following in the “Reference Document Details” group box

Work Order #

The work order number of the maintenance which has initiated the request for clarification.

Discrepancy #

The discrepancy number, which has initiated the request for clarification, while being processed.

Maint Report #

The maintenance report number which has initiated the request for clarification.

Ref Doc No 1

Any other reference document, which has initiated the request for clarification.

Ref Doc No 2

Any other reference document, which has initiated the request for clarification.

Comments

Any comments regarding the reference documents.

Zoom facility available

The system displays the following in the “Requestor Details” group box

Work Center #

The work center in which the maintenance is being done.

Work Center Description

A textual description of the work center.

Zoom facility available

Station Name

The station in which the maintenance activity is being done.

Work Phone #

The work phone number of the requestor.

Requestor

The user ID of the person who has requested the clarification.

Requestor Name

The name of the person who has requested the clarification.

Zoom facility available

Email

The email ID of the requestor.

Other Details

Any other details added with regard to this request.

Zoom facility available

File Name

The filename containing the document reference details.

Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Record Statistics” group box.

Created by

The login ID of the user who has raised the ESR.

Created Date

The date on which the ESR was raised.

Last Modified by

The login ID of the user who has last modified the ESR.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the ESR was last modified.

Confirmed by

The login ID of the user who confirmed the ESR.

Confirmed Date
