This page, you can view the position details of the individual piece parts identified for the component configuration. Details such as position code, position code status, lot number, serial number of the piece part, date of attachment of the piece part, work order raised against the piece part and the name of the organizational unit in which the work order is raised are displayed.

The “View Piece Part Position Information” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following details in the “Piece Part Details” group box:

Component #

The component ID for which the piece part position details are displayed.

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Piece Part #

The piece part that is identified for the component configuration.

Mfr. Piece Part #/Mfr. #

The manufacturer part # and the manufacturer # of the piece part that is identified for the component.

Part Description

The textual description of the piece part.

Quantity

The number of piece parts identified for the component configuration.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the piece part.

The system displays the following details in the “Piece Part Position” multiline:

Position Number

The position code to which the piece part is associated.

Status

The status of the position code which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Lot #

The lot number to which the piece part belongs.

Serial #

The serial number of the piece part.

Date Of Attachment

The date on which the piece part is attached to the position code in the component configuration.
