Selecting regulatory authority for viewing

This page allows you to select a regulatory authority for which details are to be viewed. Tell me more

Select the “View Regulatory Authority Codes” link under the “Common Master” business component.

The “Select Regulatory Authority Code” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact regulatory authority to be viewed:

Regulatory Authority

The regulatory authority for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25).

Select the “View Reg. Authority Details” link displayed alongside to view the details of the regulatory authority.
Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a regulatory authority. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Regulatory Authority	The regulatory authority for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the regulatory authority in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the regulatory authority codes that are similar to the values entered here.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the regulatory authority to be viewed, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the regulatory authorities that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of regulatory authorities irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default.
Description	The description of the regulatory authority to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 80). You can enter the description of the regulatory authority in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the regulatory authorities whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.
Country	The country for which the regulatory authority was defined (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the country in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the regulatory authorities defined for the country entered here.

Note: The system retrieves all the regulatory authorities, if all the fields are left blank.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system fills in the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Regulatory Authority	The regulatory authority retrieved by the system, based on the filter criteria specified.
Country	The country for which the regulatory authority has been defined.
Status	The status of the regulatory authority, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.
Description	The textual description of the regulatory authority.

Click the hyperlinked regulatory authority number in the multiline, to view the regulatory authority details.

Selecting regulatory authority for viewing – An overview

This option allows you to select a regulatory authority for which details are to be viewed. If you know the exact regulatory authority code to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the regulatory authority, its status, description or country. Based on the search criteria, details such as the regulatory authority, country, description and status are displayed in the multiline.
