Help on Time Zone

This Help page allows you to search and select a time zone and transfer the same to the field in which it is required. You can carry out the search using the time zone, description, difference from UTC, and time unit. The system retrieves all the time zones, which are in the “Active” status, based on the search criteria entered. On confirmation, the selected time zone is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Time Zone” field in the main page.
The “Help on Time Zone” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a time zone. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Time Zone |
The code that identifies the time zone (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists the time zones that are similar to the values entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all time zones irrespective of the time zone code. |

Zone Description |
The textual description of the time zone that you need to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists the time zones that are similar to the values entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the time zones, irrespective of the time zone description. |

Difference From UTC |
The time difference, in hours, minutes or seconds, between the time zone and the UTC (Decimal). The system lists all the time zones whose time difference with the UTC is similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all time zones, irrespective of the time difference with the UTC. |

Time Unit |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement for time zone you need to modify. The system provides the options, “Hours”, “Minutes” and “Seconds”. The system retrieves all the time zones that have time units similar to the value entered here. The system sets the field to “Hours” by default. Leave this field blank to search for the time zones irrespective of the time unit. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Time Zone |
The time zone retrieved by the system. |

Zone Description |
The textual description of the time zone. |

Different From UTC |
The difference in time, in hours, minutes or seconds, between the UTC and the time zone. |
|
Time Unit |
The unit of measurement for the time, which is hours, minutes or seconds. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the time zone.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
