Help on Operator Code
This page allows you to search and select an operator code and transfer the same to the field in which it is required. You can carry out the search using the IATA number, ICAO number and operator name. The system retrieves all the operator codes, which are in the “Active” status, based on the search criteria entered. The selected operator code is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Operator Code #” field in the main page.
The “Help On Operator Code ” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Airline Operator Code Type” group box:
Airline Operator Code Type |
The type of code such as IATA, ICAO and Others followed in the codification for the airline operators as defined in the “Set Option” activity of the “Common Master” business component. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the operator code:
IATA # |
A unique reference code to identify the airline operator (Alphanumeric, 20). If the type of airline operator code is “IATA”. |
ICAO # |
A unique reference code to identify the airline operator (Alphanumeric, 20). If the type of airline operator code is “ICAO”. |
Other# |
The code to identify the airline operator other than “IATA” or “ICAO” if the type of airline operator code is “Others” (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. |
Operator Name |
The name of the airline operator (Alphanumeric, 150). |
Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the operator codes that are in the “Active “status.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the operator codes.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

Operator Name |
The name of the airline operator. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the operator code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
