Using Online Help

This page allows you to search and select one or more incident(s). You can carry out the search using the type of incident, incident number and ATA chapter number. The search results are retrieved and displayed in the multiline.

The “Help On Incidents” page appears.

Incident Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of incident associated with an occurrence reported on an aircraft. The system lists all the active flight log / occurrence report attributes defined for the “Incident Type” in the “Create Flight Log / Occurrence Report Attributes” activity. The system retrieves all the incidents of the type selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the incidents irrespective of the incident type.

Incident

The number identifying the incident associated with an occurrence (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the incident number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the incidents with similar incident numbers.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number corresponding to the incident (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the incidents reported on the ATA chapter specified here.

The system retrieves all the incidents that are in “Active” status.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

Incident Type

The type of incident.

Incident

The number identifying the incident.

Description

The textual description of the incident.

ATA #

The ATA chapter number corresponding to the incident.

Chapter Description

The textual description of the ATA chapter.
