Help on Incidents
This page allows you to search and select one or more incident(s). You can carry out the search using the type of incident, incident number and ATA chapter number. The search results are retrieved and displayed in the multiline.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Incident” field in the main page.
The “Help On Incidents” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the incident:
Incident Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of incident associated with an occurrence reported on an aircraft. The system lists all the active flight log / occurrence report attributes defined for the “Incident Type” in the “Create Flight Log / Occurrence Report Attributes” activity. The system retrieves all the incidents of the type selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the incidents irrespective of the incident type. |
Incident |
The number identifying the incident associated with an occurrence (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the incident number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the incidents with similar incident numbers. |
ATA # |
The ATA chapter number corresponding to the incident (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the incidents reported on the ATA chapter specified here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to search for the incident.
The system retrieves all the incidents that are in “Active” status.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

The ATA chapter number corresponding to the incident. |

The textual description of the ATA chapter. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the incident.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
