Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to search and select a terminal and gate. You can carry out the search using the station number, region, terminal number and gate number. Based on the search criteria entered, the search results are retrieved and displayed in the multiline.

The “Help on Terminal & Gate” page appears.

Station #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the station to which the terminal and gate belong. The system lists all the active stations defined in the “Common Masters” business component.

Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve terminals and gates irrespective of the station number.

The system leaves this field blank by default.

Region

Use the drop-down list box to specify the region to which the terminal and gate belong. The system lists all the active regions defined in the “Common Masters" current business component.

Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve terminals and gates irrespective of the region.

The system leaves this field blank by default.

Terminal #

The number identifying the terminal in the station (Alphanumeric, 12). You can enter the terminal number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the terminals and gates applicable to the terminal number specified here.

Gate #

The number identifying the gate in the terminal (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the gate number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the terminals and gates applicable to the gate number specified here.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered:

Gate #

The number identifying the gate in the terminal.

Terminal #

The number identifying the terminal in the station.

Station #

The number identifying the station.

Region

The region to which the station is applicable.
