Modifying flight log / occurrence report attributes
This page allows you to specify the search criteria and select the flight log / occurrence report attributes that you need to modify. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Flight Log / Occurrence Report Attributes” link under the “Common Master” business component.
The “Edit Flight Log / Occurrence Report Attributes” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for flight log / occurrence report attributes. Entry in the following fields is optional:
Flight Log / Occ. Rep. Attribute Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the flight log / occurrence report attribute type that you need to retrieve. The combo is loaded with options “Flight category”, “Delay Category”, “Incident Type”, “Landing Type”, “Shutdown Type’, “Fuel Type”, “A/c Maint. Exe. Ref Detail – 1”, “A/c Maint. Exe. Ref Detail –2”, “A/c Maint. Exe. Ref Detail –3”, “Nature of Condition”, “Precautionary Procedure”,” Reason”, “Occurrence User Status”, “Business Unit”, and “Occurrence Category & Flight Sheet User Status”. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the attribute that you need to retrieve. The system lists the options “Active” and “Inactive”. The system retrieves all the attributes of the status specified here. You can leave this field blank to retrieve all the attributes irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to "Active" by default. |
Note:The system fetches the records and displays in the multiline based on the search criteria provided. Otherwise you can leave both the fields blank to retrieve all the attributes that are defined in the system.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results in the multiline.
The system displays the following field in the “Search Results” multiline:
Flight Log / Occ. Rep. Attribute Code |
The attribute code that belongs to the selected attribute code type or status. |
Modify the following fields, if required:
Description |
The modified textual description of the attribute (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the attribute, to either “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable this attribute from future reference in other activities. |
Note: Ensure that a description exists for each attribute code.
The system displays the following:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the attribute. |
Created Date |
The date, in the specified date format, on which the attribute was created. |
Last modified By |
The name of the current user who last modified the attribute. |
Last modified Date |
The current server date, in the specified date format, on which the attribute was last modified. |
Note: The system will not allow modifications to any of the fields for the pre-defined attribute 'Technical and Aircraft Equipment' against the 'Flight Log / Occ. Rep. Attribute Type' as "Delay Category”.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the attribute for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the attribute selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Flight Log / Occ. Rep. Attributes” pushbutton to update the modified details of the attribute.
Note: The system updates the modifications along with the status selected in the “Status” combo. The system stores the current user and current server date against the last modified by and last modified date.
Activate or Inactivate attribute status
Modify the status of the attribute
You can change the status of the attribute to “Active” or “Inactive”. An ‘inactive’ attribute is disabled from future reference in other activities.
Use the “Status” field in the multiline to modify the status of the quick code to “Active” or “Inactive”’.
