Viewing the certificate and parameter details for a part serial number
In this page, you can view the certificate details and maintenance parameters for the part. Tell me more
Select the “View Certificate & Parameter Information” link at the bottom of the “View Serial & Lot Details” page.
The “View Certificate & Parameter Information” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Plan Details” group box:
PI Plan # |
The number identifying the physical inventory plan. |
Plan Description |
The textual description of the PI plan. |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse for which the physical inventory plan was generated. |
Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. |
Enter the following in the “Part Selection” group box:
Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to select part that is “Serial Controlled” or “Serial & Lot Controlled” in the specified PI plan, to view the parameter and certificate details. |
Note: The system retrieves only those line numbers for which the certificate information is displayed as “Recorded” or “Not Recorded” in the “View Serial# / Lot # Information” page.
The system displays the following in the “Part Details” group box:
Part # |
The number the part for which parameter details are to be viewed. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Serial # |
The serial number associated with the part. |
Lot # |
The lot number associated with the part. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The serial number issued by the manufacturer. |
Condition |
The condition of the part, which could be “New”, “Overhauled”, “Serviceable” or “Unserviceable”. |
Part control Type |
The type of part control, which could be “Serial number controlled” or “Lot number controlled”. |
The system displays the “Certificate Details” group box:
Certificate Type |
The type of certificate issued to the part. |
Certificate Date |
The date on which the certificate was issued. |
Certificate # |
The code that identifies the certificate issued to the part. |
Authorization# |
The code that identifies the authorization. |
System Tracking Ref# |
The number used to track the certification details of the part. |
Warranty Lapse Date |
The date on which the warranty of the part lapses. |
The system displays the following in the “Parameter Details” multiline:
Parameter |
The measurable attribute of a component, such as FH / FC (Flight Hours /Flight Cycles), through which the life and maintenance of a component is monitored. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement, such as hours and cycles, for monitoring the life and maintenance of a component. |
Since New |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since it is manufactured. |
Since Overhaul |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last overhaul in the shop. |
Since Repair |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last repair in the shop. |
Since Inspection |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last inspection in the shop. |
Since Last Shop Visit |
The cumulative flying hours or flying cycles of the component, since its last visit to the shop for maintenance. |
Warranty Y/N |
Indicates whether the part is under warranty or out of the warranty period. |
Warranty Value |
The value of the part, when the part is covered under warranty. |

File Name |
The name of the file used for document reference that is associated to the physical inventory plan. |
Viewing the parameter details for a part serial number – An overview
In this page, you can view the certificate details and maintenance parameters for the part. The parameter details can be viewed for the part, which is serial number-controlled and is of type “component”. You can view parameters details, such as the time or the cycle since the part was manufactured or underwent maintenance like overhaul, repair and inspection.
You can also view the warranty details of the serial number-controlled part. If the part is under warranty, you can view the value of the part.
