Unfreezing parts in a warehouse
This page allows you to unfreeze the parts in a warehouse. Tell me more
Click the hyperlinked warehouse number in the “Unfreeze Storage Area” page.
The “Unfreeze Parts in Storage Area” page appears.
The system displays the following in the “Frozen Storage Location Details” group box:
Warehouse # |
The warehouse selected in the previous page. |
Warehouse Description |
The textual description of the warehouse. |
WH – Zone # |
The number that identifies the zone in the warehouse. |
Date of Freezing |
The date on which the warehouse was frozen. |
Document # |
The number that identifies the document. |
Document Description |
The textual description of the document. |
Document Type |
The type of document, which could be “Cycle Count” or “Physical Inventory”. |
The system displays the following in the “Frozen Part Details” multiline:
Part # |
The number that identifies the part that you wish to unfreeze. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Bin # |
The number that identifies the bin in which the part is stored. |
Tag # |
The number identifying the tag generated. |
Stock Status |
The user-defined status of the part. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline, to mark the parts for unfreezing.
Click the “Unfreeze Parts” pushbutton, to unfreeze the selected parts.
Unfreeze the parts in a storage area
You can unfreeze the part in a storage location. You can unfreeze those parts for which count and recount results are confirmed but not yet authorized.
Select the parts in the warehouse that you wish to unfreeze.
Click the “Unfreeze Parts” pushbutton, to unfreeze the selected parts.
Unfreezing parts in a warehouse – An overview
This page allows you to unfreeze the parts in a warehouse. The system displays only those parts in the warehouse for which count and recount results are confirmed but not authorized. You can select the parts that you need to unfreeze. Once unfrozen, you can carry out transactions such as stock issue, stock receipt, stock transfer, stock return, stock status conversion, goods receipt and opening balance creation, for that part.
