Selecting warehouse for setting cycle count parameters

This page allows you to select the warehouse for which you need to set the cycle count parameters. You can enter the warehouse number directly, if you know it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the warehouse number and description. The system displays the warehouses based on the search criteria.

Select the “Set Cycle Count Parameters” link under the “Physical Inventory & Cycle Count” business component.

The “Set Cycle Count Parameters for Warehouse” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Direct Entry” group box, to search for the warehouse:

Warehouse #

The number that identifies the warehouse for which you wish to set the cycle count parameters (Alphanumeric, 10). Ensure this is a valid warehouse number as defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component and in the “Active” status.

Select the “Set Cycle Count Parameters” link provided alongside, to set the cycle count parameters for the warehouse.

To search for the warehouse

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Warehouse #	The number that identifies the warehouse for which you need to set the cycle count parameters (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the warehouses whose number is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the warehouses defined in the system.
Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse (Alphanumeric, 80). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the warehouses whose description is similar to the value you specified here, which are currently not offline. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the warehouses defined in the system, which are currently not offline.

Note: Leave all the search fields blank, to retrieve all the warehouses in the system.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the search results.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Warehouse #	The warehouse retrieved by the system.
Warehouse Description	The textual description of the warehouse.
Warehouse Type	The type of the warehouse, which could be either “Free” or “Normal”.
Execution Parameters	The system displays “Set” if cycle count parameters have been successfully set for the warehouse. The system displays “Not Set” if cycle count parameters have not been set for the warehouse.
