This page allows you to select the cycle count plan that you need to authorize. Tell me more

The “Authorize Cycle Count Plan” page appears.

CC Plan #

The number that identifies the CC plan you need to authorize (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the CC plans with numbers similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans in the “Draft” or “Fresh” status.

Class

Use the drop-down list box to select the class for which the CC plan is created. The system lists the classification method defined for the login organization in the “Set Cycle Count Plan Options” activity of the current business component. The system retrieves all the CC plans of the class specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the class.

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the part for which the CC plan was generated. The system displays  “Raw Material”, “Tool”, “Kit”, “Expandable”, “Component”, “Consumable” and “Miscellaneous” as options. The system retrieves all the CC plans for the part type specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the part type..

Part Group

Use the drop-down list box to select the part group of the part for which the CC plan was generated. The system displays all the valid part groups defined in the “Create Part Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The system retrieves all the CC plans for the part group specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the part group.

Part Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the part for which the CC plan was generated. The system displays all the “Active” quick codes of type “Part Category” as defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the “Part Administration” business component. The system retrieves all the CC plans for the part category specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the part category.

Part #

The number that identifies the part for which the CC plan was generated (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the CC plans in which the part numbers are similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the part number.

Warehouse #

Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse for which the cycle count plan was generated. If you are working in the Main base, the drop-down list box lists those Active warehouses defined in the Storage Administration component, which are currently not offline and allow “Cycle Count” transactions. Alternatively, if you are working in a Field base, the drop-down list box displays all Active warehouses mapped to the offline area that allow “Cycle Count” transactions. The system retrieves all the CC plans for the warehouse specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the warehouse.

WH – Zone #

The number that identifies the zone for which the cycle count plan was generated (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the CC plans in which the zone numbers are similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the zone number.

Planned By

The name of the user who planned the cycle counting activity (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the CC plans in which the planner name is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the planner name.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to assign a user-defined status to the cycle count plan. The system lists all the “Active” quick codes defined for the user status in the “Create Quick Codes” activity of the current business component.  The system sets the field blank by default. The system retrieves all the CC plans that are in the user status specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the CC plans irrespective of the user status.

Note: Leave all the search fields blank, to retrieve all the CC plans in the ““Fresh” status.

CC Plan #

The CC plan retrieved by the system.

Plan Description

The textual description of the CC plan.

User Status

The user-defined status of the CC plan.

Plan Status

The status of the selected CC plan.

Class

The class to which the CC plan belongs, which could be “A”, “B”, “C” or “V”, “E”, “D”

Warehouse #

The warehouse for which the CC plan was generated.

Warehouse Description

The textual description of the warehouse.

WH – Zone #

The number that identifies the zone for which the CC plan is generated.

Zone Description

The textual description of the zone.

Planned By

The name of the user who generated the CC plan.

To authorize the CC plan

The system updates the status to “Authorized” on authorization, and the authorized cycle count plan becomes active. Authorized CC plan cannot be edited or cancelled. It can only be closed.

Note: Cycle count sheets can be generated only from an “Authorized” plan.

To cancel the CC plan

The system cancels the CC plan and sets the status as “Cancelled”. You can cancel the CC plan,  only in “Draft’ or “Fresh” status.  A CC plan for which CC sheet is already generated cannot be cancelled. If a plan is cancelled, it will not be available for any further transaction.

Authorize the CC plan

You can authorize a CC plan, which is in the “Fresh” status. On authorization, the status is changed to “Authorized”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cancel the CC plan

You can cancel a CC plan, which is in the “Draft” or “Fresh” status. However, you cannot cancel a CC plan for which the CC sheet is generated. On cancellation, the status is changed to “Cancelled”.

Authorize Cycle Count Plan - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to select the cycle count plan that you need to authorize.

Note: Only CC plans in the “Fresh” status can be authorized.

You can carry out a search based on the CC plan number, class, part type, part group, part category, warehouse number, zone number and the planner of the CC plan. The system retrieves all the cycle count plans in the “Draft” or “Fresh” status, based on the search criteria.
