Basics of using a typical web page

The “View Parameter” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Parameter

The number of the parameter for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). The system lists all the parameter numbers that are similar to the values entered here.

Status

The status of the parameter to be viewed, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system lists all those parameters that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all parameters irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default.

Parameter Type

The type of the parameter to be viewed, which could be “Attribute”, “Consumption”, “Range”, “Technical”. The system lists all those parameters whose type is similar to the value specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of all parameters irrespective of their type. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Org. Unit Name

Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the organizational unit in which the parameter to be viewed, was created. The system lists all the parameters that are created in the OU specified here. By default, the system displays the organizational unit that you have logged into.

The system fills in the following fields in the multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

Parameter

The number identifying the parameter.

Parameter Description

The textual description of the parameter.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Parameter Type

The type of the parameter, which could be “Attribute”, “Consumption”, “Range”, “Technical”.

Formula #

The formula associated with the parameter.

Formula Content

The content of the formula.

Created Date

The date on which the parameter was created.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the parameter was last modified.

Status

The status of the parameter which could be “Active” or “Inactive”.

Created By

The name of the user who created the parameters.

Last Modified By

Viewing parameters – An overview

View parameters - A summary of the activity

This option allows you to view the details of the parameters defined. If you know the number of the parameter to be viewed, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search using parameter number, parameter type, status or OU description. You can view details such as the parameter number, description, unit of measurement, parameter type, formula id, formula content, creation date, modified date and the status.
