Note: The system creates the component IDs only for those multilne rows that are not marked for deletion. If the component family number is entered in the “Component Family #” field, the system attaches the component family details to the component ID, along with the parameter details, and sets the status of the component to “Active”.

The system inherits the configuration details of the part number in the “Part #' field, to the component ID created. And also sets the status of each component configuration to “Fresh” status.

The system copies the ATA chapter number, zone number, lead parameter, average value, and supplier details defined for the part to the component ID.

The system creates the warranty information for the component if the “Under Warranty” option is specified in ‘Goods Receipt’ associated to the component and warranty clause details are already furnished.
