Selecting manufacturer for viewing
This page allows you to select the manufacturer for viewing. You can carry out a search based on the manufacturer number, status, CAGE number, NSCM number, SITA / ARINC code, SPEC 2000 code or manufacturer category. You can also specify whether the manufacturer defined is a manufacturer and supplier or only a manufacturer. The system displays the manufacturers that match the filter criteria.
Select the “View Manufacturer Information” link under the “Aircraft” business component.
The “Select Manufacturer” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the manufacturer you need to view. Entry in these fields is optional.
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer number for which the details are to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the manufacturer number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the suppliers, whose manufacturer numbers are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to search for the manufacturers irrespective of the manufacturer number. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the manufacturer to be viewed, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. Leave this field blank to retrieve the manufacturer details irrespective of this field. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
CAGE # |
The “Commercial and Government Entity” code (CAGE) assigned to the manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 5). You can enter the CAGE number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the manufacturers, whose CAGE numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
NSCM # |
The “NATO Supply code for Manufacturer” number (NSCM) assigned to the manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 5). You can enter the NSCM number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the manufacturers, whose NSCM numbers are similar to the number entered here. |
SITA / ARINC |
The code that identifies the manufacturer when using the SITA / ARINC form of communication (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the SITA / ARINC code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the manufacturer that match the SITA / ARINC code entered here. Leave this field blank to search for the manufacturers irrespective of the SITA / ARINC code. |
SPEC 2000 Code |
The code identifying the international standard for data interchange, which enables airlines and its trading partners to fully automate the buying and selling process (Alphanumeric, 5). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the manufacturers that match the SPEC 2000 code entered here. Leave this field blank to search for the manufacturers irrespective of the SPEC 2000 code. |
Relationship Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the relationship type. The system displays the following options:

Manufacturer Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category to which the manufacturer belongs to be retrieved. Leave this field blank to retrieve manufacturer details irrespective of this field. The system leaves the field blank by default. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the manufacturer details.
The system retrieves the following details in the “Manufacturer Details” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer number for which the details are to be viewed. |
Manufacturer Name # |
The name of the manufacturer or the description of the manufacturer code. |
CAGE # |
The “Commercial and Government Entity” code (CAGE) assigned to the manufacturer. |
NSCM # |
The “NATO Supply code for Manufacturer” number (NSCM) assigned to the manufacturer. |
SITA / ARINC |
The code that identifies the supplier when using the SITA / ARINC form of communication. |
SPEC 2000 Code |
The code identifying the international standard for data interchange, which enables airlines and its trading partners to fully automate the buying and selling process |
Relationship Type |
The type of the relationship. The system displays one of the following:

Manufacturer Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category to which the manufacturer belongs. The system lists all the manufacturer categories defined in the “Create Quick Code” activity. |
Address |
The address of the regulatory authority. |
Phone # |
The phone number of the manufacturer. |
URL |
The website of the manufacturer. |
Contact Person |
The person who is supposed to be contacted. |
Work Phone # |
The work phone number of the contact person (Alphanumeric, 30). |

The email ID of the contact person or the manufacturer. |
Status |
Tthe status of the manufacturer, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
