In this page, you can select a parameter and view the history of the parameter values. Tell me more.

The “View History of Parameter Value Update” page appears.

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields appear in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #

The component selected in the main page, for which the history of the parameter values must be viewed.

Part #

The part to which the component belongs.

Note

Mfr. Part #

The manufacturer part number of the component.

Mfr. #

The manufacturer number of the component.

Note

 

Serial #

The serial number of the component.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Parameter

Use the drop-down list box to select the parameter for which the history details are to be viewed. The system lists all the parameters that are defined in the “Create Parameters” activity.

The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:

Parameter Type

The type of the parameter, which could be “Attribute”, “Consumption”, “Range”, “Technical”.

Parameter Description

The textual description of the parameter.

Zoom facility available.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the parameter.

Present Value

The present value of the parameter.

As of Date

The date on which the parameter present value was recorded for the component.

Initialized Value

The initialized value of the parameter.

The system displays “Unknown” if the “Since New” value of the parameter is not known. Else, the system displays the “Since New” value as the initialized value.

From Date

The starting date in the range of dates for which the parameter values are to be retrieved (Date Format). If this field is left blank, the system displays the Component Manufacturing Date for retrieving corresponding records in the multiline.

By default, the system displays the date that is 30 days earlier than the “To Date”.

To Date

The ending date in the range of dates until which the parameter values must be retrieved (Date Format).  If this field is left blank, the system displays ‘Current date + 1’ for retrieving corresponding records in the multiline.

By default, the system displays ‘To Date’ as ‘current date +1’.

The system displays the following fields in the “Parameter Update History” multiline:

Since New

The cumulative value of the parameter (like flying hours or flying cycles) of the component since it is manufactured.

Since Overhaul

The cumulative value of the parameter (like flying hours or flying cycles) since its last overhaul.

Since Repair

The cumulative value of the parameter (like flying hours or flying cycles) since its last repair in the shop.

Since Inspection

The cumulative value of the parameter (like flying hours or flying cycles) since its last inspection in the shop.

Since Last Shop Visit

The cumulative value of the parameter (like flying hours or flying cycles) since it was taken to the shop for overhaul, repair or inspection.

Updated Value

The updated value of the parameter.

Updated Date

The date on which the parameter value was updated.

Update Mode

Indicates, the mode on which the parameter value has to be updated. The system displays either one of the following:

 
  • Delta – indicate that the new parameter value is added with the existing parameter value.

 
  • New – indicate that the parameter value is overwritten by the new parameter value.

Transaction #

The transaction, which has caused the change in the parameter value.

Transaction Type

The type of the transaction, which could be "Attached" or "Removed".

Transaction Date

The date on which the transaction was carried out.

  • Click the hyperlinked transaction date to view the parameter values.

Remarks

Any general comment regarding the parameter value update, as retrieved from the parameter history for each transaction and parameter combination.

Updated By

The name of the person that updated the parameter present value.

Org. Unit #

Viewing parameter value update history for component – An overview

View Component Record - A summary of the activity

You can specify the dates within which the parameter values must be retrieved. The system displays the component parameter values, such as the time or cycle since the component was manufactured or underwent maintenance, like overhaul, repair and inspection. The date, on which the parameter values are updated, whether the parameter is updated from the constant value or the range of values, and the transaction that caused the change in the parameter values, are also displayed.
