Viewing history of parameter update for aircraft
In this page you can select a parameter and view the history of parameter values. Tell me more.
Select the "View History of Parameter Value Update" link at the bottom of the "View Aircraft Information" page.
The "View History of Parameter Value Update" page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following field in the “Aircraft Details” group box:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft for which the history of the parameter values must be viewed. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number given to the aircraft by the manufacturer at the time of production. |
Variable Tab # |
The tab number of the aircraft. |
Nose # |
The nose number of the aircraft is an aircraft identifier, which is primarily used by the marketing department of an airline |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model to which the aircraft belongs. |
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer of the aircraft. |
The system displays the following field in the “Supplementary Identifier Details” group box:
Customer Effectivity # |
The customer effectivity number of the aircraft. |
Engine Set # |
The engine set number of the aircraft. |
Enter the following in the “Parameter Details” group box:
Parameter |
Use the drop-down list box to select the parameter for which the history details are to be viewed. The system lists all the parameters that are defined for the aircraft registration number. |
The system displays the following fields on clicking the “Get Details” group box:
Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter, which could be “Attribute”, “Consumption”, “Range”, “Technical”. |
Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Present Value |
The present value of the parameter. |
As of Date |
The date on which the parameter present value was recorded for the aircraft. |
Enter the following field in the “Display Filter” group box:
From Date |
The starting date in the range of dates in which the parameter values are to be retrieved (Date Format). If this field is left blank, the system displays the Aircraft Induction Date for retrieving corresponding records in the multiline. By default, the system displays the date that is 30 days earlier than the “To Date”. |
To Date |
The ending date in the range of dates until which the parameter values must be retrieved (Date Format). If this field is left blank, the system displays ‘Current date + 1’ for retrieving corresponding records in the multiline. By default, the system displays ‘To Date’ as ‘current date +1’. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the parametr values for the parameter of the component.
The system displays the following field in the “Parameter Update History” multiline on clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton:
Updated Value |
The updated value of the parameter. |
Updated Date |
The date on which the parameter value was updated. |
Update Mode |
Indicates the mode on which the parameter value has to be updated. The system lists the following option: |

Transaction # |
The transaction which has caused the change in the parameter value. |
Transaction Type |
The type of the transaction, which could be "Flight Log", "Technical Log" or "Manual". |
Transaction Date |
The date on which the transaction was carried out. |

Remarks |
Any general comment regarding the parameter value update, as retrieved from the parameter history for each transaction and parameter combination. |
Updated By |
The name of the person who updated the parameter present value. |
Org. Unit # |
The organization unit where the transaction was carried out. |
Viewing history of parameter update for aircraft – An overview
You can specify the dates within which the parameter values must be retrieved. The system displays the updated value of the parameter, the date on which the parameter value was updated, whether the parameter is updated from the constant value or the range of values, and the transaction that caused the change in the parameter value are also displayed in the multiline.
