Help on consumption parameter

This page allows you to retrieve the details of the parameters of type “Consumption” that is already defined. You can carry out the search using the parameter number or organizational unit description. Details such as parameter number, its description, unit of measurement, parameter type, formula ID associated to the parameter and the contents of the formula are displayed.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Parameter” field in the main screen.
The “Help on Consumption Parameters” page appears
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a parameter. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Parameter |
The parameter number of type “Consumption” for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the parameters of type “Consumption” whose numbers are similar to the value entered here. |

Org. Unit Name |
Use the drop-down list box to select the description of the organizational unit in which the lead parameter to be retrieved, belongs. Leave this field blank to retrieve “Consumption” parameter irrespective of this field. The system displays the organizational unit to which you have logged into by default. |
Click the “Search” button to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Parameter |
The number identifying the parameter. |

Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
|
UOM |
The unit of measurement. The system fills this field only in the case of “Range” and “Consumption” parameters. |

Parameter Type |
The type of the parameter, which could be “Consumption”. |
|
Formula # |
The formula associated with the parameter. |
|
Formula Content |
The content of the formula has defined in the “Formula Builder” component. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the lead parameter.
Click the “OK” button to transfer it to the main page.
