Basics of using a typical web page

Using Online Help

This page allows you to retrieve the details of the aircraft identifier selected in the previous page. The system displays the aircraft identifier selected in the previous page and also the other aircraft identifiers. You can carry out a search for the aircraft identifier by specifying the aircraft registration number, manufacturer serial number, variable tab number, nose number, aircraft model number, manufacturer number, aircraft group number, flight hours completed, flight cycles completed and/or customer. You can also search based on the organizational unit to which the aircraft is associated. The system retrieves the details of the selected aircraft identifier in the multiline.

The “Help on Aircraft Identifiers” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Aircraft Identification Detail” group box:

Selected Aircraft Identifier

The aircraft identifier selected in the “Aircraft Identifier Type” drop-down list box in the previous page which could be one of the following:

  • Aircraft Reg # - indicates that the aircraft registration numbers must be retrieved.

  • Mfg. Serial # - indicates that the manufacturer serial numbers of the aircraft must be retrieved.

  • Variable Tab # - indicates that the variable tab numbers must be retrieved.

  • Nose # - indicates that the tail numbers must be retrieved.

  • Customer Effectivity – indicates that the customer effectivity number  retrieved.

  • Engine Set # - indicates that the engine set numbers must be retrieved.

  • Flight Hours < = - indicates that the flight hours must be retrieved.

  • Flight Cycles < = - indicates that the flight cycles must be retrieved.

Based on the aircraft identifier displayed in the above field, the other aircraft identifiers are displayed in the following order in the “Aircraft Identifier (2)”, “Aircraft Identifier (3)”, etc. fields:

For example, if the “Aircraft Reg #” is displayed in the “Selected Aircraft Identifier” field, then the system displays “Mfg Serial #” in the “Aircraft Identifier (2)” field, “Variable Tab #” in the “Aircraft Identifier (3)” field and so on.
