This option allows you to modify the details of the selected quick code. Details such as the description and status can be modified. The system updates the details of the quick code and sets the “Last Modified Date” to the server date.

The “Edit Quick Codes” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

The system displays the following field:

Quick Code Type

The type of the quick code. The system displays either one of the following: “Aircraft Type”, “Aircraft Status”, “Model Type”, “Usage Type”, “Aircraft Details – 1”, “Aircraft Details – 2”, “Component Details – 1”, “Component Details – 2”, “Component Details – 3”, “Equipment Group”, “Mod Category”, “Mod Classification”, "User Defined Details1", "User Defined Details2", "User Defined Details3", "User Defined Details4", "User Defined Details5".

Status

Use the drop-down list box to modify the status of the quick code. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Set the status as “Inactive” if you wish to disable the quick code from future reference in other activities.

The system displays the following field:

Quick Code

The quick code selected in the main page, for which the details are to be modified.

Description

The textual description of the quick code (Alphanumeric, 80). Mandatory.

Zoom facility available.

The system updates the details of the “Quick Code” in the Quick Code field. The current server date is updated as the “Last Modified Date” for the Quick Code. The page is refreshed with the updated details.

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created by

The name of the user who created the quick code.

Created Date

The date on which the quick code was created.

Last Modified by

The name of the user who modified the quick code.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the quick code was last modified.
