Entering reference document details for the aircraft

This page allows you to record reference information for the aircraft. The definition of aircraft might involve referencing of previously executed documents, manuals, drawings, etc. These details are recorded as reference information in this page.

You can specify the document type, the reference document number, description, remarks and file name. The system updates the details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.

Select the “Edit Reference Details” link at the bottom of the main page.

The “Edit Reference Details” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Aircraft Details” group box:

Aircraft Reg #	The number identifying the aircraft for which the reference document details must be defined.
Manufacturer Serial #	The manufacturer serial number of the aircraft.
Variable Tab #	The variable tab number of the aircraft
Nose #	The nose number of the aircraft
Aircraft Model #	The aircraft model to which the aircraft belongs
Manufacturer #	The manufacturer of the aircraft

Enter the following in the “Reference Document Details” multiline:

Reference Document Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the reference document. The system lists all the reference document types that are defined in the "Create Reference Document Type" activity of the "Common Master" business component.
Document #	The number identifying the reference document (Alphanumeric, 18). Mandatory.
Description	The textual description of the reference document (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory
Remarks	Any comment or remarks pertaining to the reference document (Alphanumeric, 255).
File Name #	The name of the file that contains the reference document details (Alphanumeric, 50). Help facility available

Select the “View File” link at the bottom of the page to view the file details.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the reference document for deletion.

Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the reference document selected in the multiline.

Click the “Edit Reference Details” pushbutton to update the reference document details.
