Selecting aircraft group for modification
In this page, you can select an aircraft group and view its details before modification. You can enter the aircraft group number directly, if you are aware of the exact number. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the aircraft group number, category or status. The details of the aircraft group, such as the aircraft group number, description, category and status, are displayed in the multiline.
Select the “Edit Aircraft Group” link under the “Aircraft” business component.
The “Select Aircraft Group” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the exact aircraft group number to be modified:

The identifier of the aircraft group (Alphanumeric, 20). |
Select the “Edit Aircraft Group Information” link displayed alongside to modify the details of the aircraft group.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for an aircraft group: Data entry in the following fields are optional:
Aircraft Group # |
The identifier of the aircraft group to be modified (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the aircraft groups whose numbers are similar to the number specified here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all aircraft groups. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the aircraft group to be modified. The system provides the options “Active” and “Inactive”. Leave the field blank to retrieve aircraft groups irrespective of their status. The system displays “Active” by default. |
Aircraft Group Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the quick code, to which the aircraft group to be modified, is associated. The system lists all quick codes that are of type “Aircraft Group Category” and of status “Active”. Leave the field blank to retrieve aircraft groups irrespective of the quick code. |
Note: If all the fields in the search criteria are left blank, the system retrieves all the aircraft groups created in the organizational unit to which you have logged into.
Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.
The system displays the following fields in the multiline based on the filter criteria provided:
Note: The system does not retrieve the aircraft records that are in “Frozen” status.
Aircraft Group # |
The identifier of the aircraft group. |
Group Description |
The textual description of the aircraft group. |
Aircraft Group Category |
The quick code to which the aircraft group is associated. The system leaves the field blank if the aircraft group is not associated to any quick code. |
Status |
The status of the aircraft group, which can be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Click the hyperlinked aircraft group number in the multiline, to modify the aircraft group details.
