Creating zones

Select the “Create Zones“ link under the “Aircraft” business component.

The “Create Zones” page appears.

Enter the following in the "Model Details" group box:

Aircraft Model #

Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model for which the zones must be associated. The system lists "Active" aircraft models defined in the "Create Aircraft Model" activity of the current business component.

Enter the following fields in the multiline:

Zone #

A unique number identifying the zone in the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits. Ensure that this number is unique for the organizational unit.

Zone Description	The textual description of the zone (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory.
Category	The category to which the zone belongs (Alphanumeric, 25).

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the zones for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the zones selected in the multiline.
Click "Create Zones" pushbutton to define the zones.

Note: The system creates zones and sets the status of the created zones as "Active" and the zone creation date as the server date.
