Create Manufacturer Information

Select the “Create Manufacturer Information” link under the “Aircraft” business component.

The “Create Manufacturer Information” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Manufacturer Details” multiline:

Manufacturer #	A unique number identifying the manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 16). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits. If the "Allow Supplier as Manufacturer Reference" is set to “Yes” in the “Set Purchase Option” activity of the “Logistic Common Master” business component, then the manufacturer code must not be defined in the “Supplier” business component. Otherwise the manufacturer code must be unique in the “Aircraft” business component.
Manufacturer Name	The name of the manufacturer or the description of the manufacturer code. Mandatory.
CAGE #	The “Commercial and Government Entity” code (CAGE) assigned to the manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 5).
NSCM #	The “NATO Supply code for Manufacturer” number (NSCM) assigned to the manufacturer (Alphanumeric, 5).
SITA / ARINC	The code that identifies the supplier when using the SITA / ARINC form of communication.
SPEC 2000 Code	The code identifying the international standard for data interchange, which enables airlines and its trading partners to fully automate the buying and selling process (Alphanumeric, 5).
Manufacturer Category	Use the drop-down list box to specify the category to which the manufacturer belongs. The system lists all the manufacturer categories defined in the “Create Quick Code” activity.
Address	The complete address of the regulatory authority (Alphanumeric, 2000).
Phone #	The phone number of the manufacturer.
URL	The website of the manufacturer.
Contact Person	The person who is supposed to be contacted.
Work Phone #	The work phone number of the contact person (Alphanumeric, 30).
Email	The email ID of the contact person or the manufacturer.

Note: Ensure that atleast one manufacturer information is entered in the multiline.

Click the “Create Manufacturer Information” pushbutton to create the manufacturer details.

Note: The system creates manufacturer code and sets the status of the created manufacturer information as "Active".
