This activity allows you to set the function defaults for the “Account Rule Definition” business component. Tell me more
Select the “Set Function Defaults” link under the “Account Rule Definition” business component.
The “Set Function Defaults” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Sale Accounting based on Part |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether sale accounts can be defined based on parts. You can select from “Yes” and “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page, if the value is set for the first time. |
Consumption Accounting based on Parameters |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether consumption accounts can be defined based on parameters. |
Account Material, Resources, and Others separately |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the expenditure or revenue is to be posted to different account heads. |
Click the “Set” pushbutton to set the function default.
The system saves the functional defaults that have been set. The system also stores the login ID of the user and the system date along with the default details.
